Adlee and Jaxon's plan for marriage!

So yesterday Adlee was talking to Grandpa on the phone and this is the conversation:

Grandpa: Adlee do you have any boyfriends?

Adlee: yes, Jaxon

G: Jaxon who?

A: JAXON CHAFFEE

G: ooohhhh, I know him.

A: We plan on playing the wii everyday when we get married.

THis just kills me, hilarious. These two have plans to marry so they can play the wii everyday! Oh, the minds of children, they just don't know what it takes to survive in this world yet....

so funny.

Noah's First Steps and Acting Career as Frankenstein

Happenin' Happenings!

So the tooth fairy failed this last weekend with Adlee! She forgot to give her money two nights in a row. Then on the 3rd morning and no more excuses left for me to cover the problem up, Adlee woke up furious! She walked into my room ticked off, and with her veins in her neck bulging (seriously) and tooth in her hand, she says, "What is she doing to me?" She does not know how special this is to me!" It was very traumatic and with tears in her eyes and a very "hurt heart" she wrote this letter to the tooth fairy. I think the STUPID T.F. got the idea! She better learn her lesson and not mess with the Bunker chicks ever again.

This picture cracks me up! Adam got flowers from a patient a few weeks ago, he is doing the dork face because they were from a guy! Just to ease your minds, there was a card written to The Bunker Family along with a thanks directed to me for my husband and his good dental skills. Phew!

Last week I told Adlee to go get ready for the day. She came down looking like this and said, "Happy underpants day!" what the? She is a hoot. Then Brielle thought it would be fun to join in and they both celebrated Underpants Day for a little bit anyway.

So this is the only picture I have of our Easter egg hunt extravaganza! yep! that is us freezing on Saturday before Easter. Our ward did a great service project that morning cleaning up at a big park and that is why Adlee is sportin' the hot orange safety vest and XXL gloves. It is always a great experience freezing and picking up litter :)

Actually, it made a big impact on my girls because they notice garbage laying around everywhere now, even as I'm driving they say, "mommy, somebody littered over there." I don't think they will be dropping garbage around the earth much.

Just another one for a giggle! Silly Adam loves to make the girls laugh! Brielle and him were playing "Tumble" the other day. He better not keep those marbles there long or his nostrils will stay that way, atleast that is what I've always been told.

And the highlight of our week! We were able to go to Gettysburg this last weekend with some of our great friends. Chaffee's have family that live there and their uncle is in the military so he was able to take us around and give us all the history, stories, and background of Gettysburg. It was amazing and we are so glad he could take us around. Great times, great company. It was a pretty crazy feeling walking around where so many people were killed fighting in war. Pretty sad how many people were involved and affected by it. It is a great experience to go there and feel the sacredness of this hollowed ground.

The Devil's Den

A spot where many were fighting and sniping from behind these boulders. Adam was going to grow a beard for a few weeks but that ended yesterday because he wanted his wife to kiss him!

I tried many times to get Noah to smile for a picture but he wasn't cooperating well with us. All he wanted to do was walk by himself. Even though he is not walking yet, he thinks he can!

One of Noah's happiest moments. He was down and dirty walking around this tree.

And that's all folks! until next week (maybe)

Loves!

Adlee's FHE lesson

Okay this I just had to share because it was too cute. Tonight for FHE Adlee wanted to do the lesson. So she wrote this lesson this afternoon and folded it up in her pocket for tonight. This is what she said:

Welcome to Adlee's lesson. Today I am going to talk about the scriptures. While I am reading please be seated and quiet. Thank you. Now Adlee's lesson. Scriptures teach us about when Jesus was born, they teach us about the prophets and Adam and Eve. They teach us about when Jesus was born and grew up to be a great leader at the church. And that is the end of my lesson. and once again thank you for coming to my lesson and being seated and quiet. Adlee's lesson.

A Tribute to my GRANDPA MOODY.

This last week my Grandpa Moody passed through this life and into the next. My Mom's Dad was 86 years old and he has been suffering with Alzheimers' for many years. He suffered
a lot of pain in the end so we were all praying for him to be relieved of it. I have had many wonderful memories with my Gramps and Granny and I love him very much. Death is never easy for anyone (especially me) but I am so grateful for the comfort it is to know that he is still with us and we will be together again. I love you Gramps. I was blessed to have been able to be
in Arizona for the funeral, for 24 hours, it was a quick trip but it was so worth being there with all my Moody family (no, not moody as in grumpy). The funeral was so wonderful to hear memories of my Grandpa as my mom and aunts and uncles spoke about him. He was such a simple man. He didn't need the things of the world, all he needed was his family and a garden. He was an extreme health nut who loved to serve others and he had such a unique sense of humor. His poems and sayings that he wrote are hilarious. I loved seeing all my cousins that I hadn't seen in 10 years and I have so many fun and wonderful memories with them. It was a wonderful reunion with them. Thank you Mom and Dad for flying me to AZ to be with you all. Thank you Nana for watching Noah sleep for 4 hours! And a big thank you to Sheree, Vanessa and Boo for watching my girls so Adam could study for BOARDS today! It was worth suffering through the flight home and NOAH THROWING UP AND DIARRHEA EVERYWHERE! That in itself is another post. ha!
Here is one of my Grandpa's hilarious poems that I want to share with you:
"Let's clean up the world"
"Let's all get rid of pornography," I heard a great leader say,
And his words were very much with me as I went to work one day.
I'm a plasterer by trade, and they sent me to patch up a wall in this place,
It was a room where they restored old paintings, several of them were a disgrace.
They were ancient paintings of naked woman and a man,
I was ashamed to work in the place.
And I mentioned the paintings should have on some clothes,
And you should have seen the look on the manager's face.
"The subjects aren't naked," he answered.
"They are rightly called , 'in the nude'."
By now, I was really disgusted.
You might say, I was coming unglued.
"A great artist created those paintings,
And the viewer needs to have a clean mind."
But to me, they were obscene paintings.
They just were the ancient kind.
I tell you, my head was a swimmin'.
This didn't make sense at all.
This feller was readin' the good books,
But a naked woman hung there on the wall.
I sure wish someone would tell me,
How nude paintings of the past are immune,
And never once thought to be "no no's,"
While naked moderns are way out of tune?
I guess I'm a little old-fashioned,
But if a man's naked in Rome or in France,
And they painted his body 2,000 years ago,
I still say, "The fellar needs pants."
I talked to the school director
And told him that I didn't like that feller in the nude,
And I told him if he'd give me the power,
I'd sure put some clothes on that dude.
So my feelings about pornography are,
"Clean up our world here today,
But don't drag out some raunchy paintings from the past,
And try to tell me that they're O.K. "

BB's 4th Birthday!

Beautiful Brielle, Feb. 4th
chubby and cute

I know, I know I'm a slacker! A busy month and it is only getting busier so I better just POST! Brielle turned 4! Of course we had a great time but I was a slacker once again and ended up doing cupcakes at McDonalds with her buddies. McDonald's seriously???? The little girls seemed to love it and Brielle knows I love her still. She got everything she wanted and more. I love my happy and energetic munchkin and can't believe she is so big! When we moved here to Philly she was only 6 months and now 4! wow. Noah enjoyed sitting in his stroller and eating whatever, ending up with it all over him. And then that night we did our family stuff when Adam got home from school. Check out my party PJ's, wow I was in the mood! Happy Bday little rascal, I love you!
