Halloween happiness (or not)

Oh what fun we had on Halloween WEEK! so these pictures are backwards, sorry. We started off the week activities of course with the Ward trunk or treat and carnival games in the church. Then Halloween get together at our friends house for food and then trick or treating around their neighborhood. It was great! I was really hoping that Noah would get it this year and be able to hook me up with a load of candy, but he didn't care. Saw one piece of candy and that was it, he didn't realize you had to ask to receive. Can't just stand their and scream at your mom who has nothing. Oh well, we had fun and you will see why when you see his hilarious chicken outfit my friend let me borrow.
Here is Brielle as a good witch on this night. She turned bad on Halloween night and wanted the green makeup on her face.

Adlee dressing up as Cinderella for the second year in a row. I was very happy that my persuasion worked. I told her she would never get to wear her glass slippers again because they are almost too small, so she thought that was pretty important. ha ha

My chicken boy was killing me, he loved to say, BOCK BOCK and flap his wings. This house was a huge hit for him, not because they had huge candy bars or anything (probably just a tootsie roll) but he sure threw a tantrum when I had to pick him up and leave THE DOGS!

Anxious and willing to wear this hilarious costume.

Oh and so anxious to get out of his carseat. AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!

Carving and Freezing.

Thanks to Dad for the pumpkins and Mom for the yummy baked pumpkin seeds we had a great FHE.

Finding Joy in the Journey

What a great conference it was last week! I was so grateful that this year the theme seemed to be unity and HOPE. It is what we needed to hear in these days of chaos. Just keep on believing and continue to hope in all things. We need to be strong and united in our homes, families, church, and friends. I hope to start here in my home. Every talk was awesome and I am thankful for leaders and a Prophet to guide us and make me feel safe.

The girls did pretty good this year. Here they are doing some conference activities on my bed.
A fun night of bowling with the kids. Adlee is way too competitive! uh, whose genes are those?

Brielle crossed the line a little too much and had a fall.

Noah had some fun with his spegetti a few nights ago. He was pretty proud of his body artwork.

Brielle talking to her friends on the phone. She is missing her girls. She also likes to hang my earrings on the top of her ear.

Noah is such an entertainer. He walked in my room wearing these glasses. So cute!

Bring it on all you soccer mom's!

I think I won the soccer mom award in my RED HOT mini van as I drove up to the season opener this Saturday. Brielle and Adlee were so excited and don't they look so spiffy?
We had Adlee and Brielle's games and we were at the fields from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. TOO much for one day but AYSO had to get in the opening ceremonies for the first game day. whoo hoo! My girls love every minute of it and I do have to say they got their Daddy's fast genes in them. I'm not proud or anything...... I know, I know you are all thinking where is the volleyball? Well, here in Clovis they don't start them until 3rd grade for that. I think I might have a battle with Adlee on volleyball vs. soccer next year. CRUD!

CLASSIC Brielle! This is her pregame ritual I guess. If you can't tell what she is doing let's just say, she needed some breathing room in that little nose of hers. Caught in the moment. "Could you just start the game, please?"

This little girl and Brielle were right by eachother the entire game. Back and forth making goals. Not intimadated one bit, Philly been good to us!

And Noah doing some half time entertainment.

Adlee strikes a pose and doesn't even care about the big piece of hair in her face.
Noah loves to kill the flies. The girls play this new game that they are the flies and Noah chases them down. Cheap entertainment and hilarious!
Noah must have some great flexibility, double joints, or broke a finger hitting someone. He loves this "don't you do that" pointer.

The latest...

My girls are learning to play in the rock. They spent about 3 hours out here on Labor Day. It is so nice when they play together and have fun! They made their own little home outside on the side of the house so we couldn't see them and wanted to play "HOMELESS". They made me lock the door and then they would come and knock and beg for food. I would make them do a chore for money and then they would buy food. It was pretty funny.

We had a great time camping a few weekends ago with some friends. We went to Bottomless Lake near Roswell, and rented boats, made a sandcastle and got eaten by Mesquitos! It was great fun, I just hope I don't get West Nile.

And here is how I found Noah last week! Silence from Noah means TROUBLE!
Yes, this wins nastiest picture of the year!

THis is what happens when you don't live next to Vanessa anymore! I know tears everyone!
The buzzed Noah......now he is even more of a wild man.
