Vegas and Busts (oops) Vegas or Bust!

We had so much fun in Vegas last weekend. Thanks Clint and Meghan for spending your anniversary with us. Adam had a dental course in Vegas and I wanted to come along and relax too. Thanks to fabulous friends and my mom and grandma that flew in to watch the kids for the weekend we were able to get away and relax.
weekend agenda:
Thurs. Adam and Carlee to dental courses, BORING! but fun to be together.

Thurs. night or should I say Friday morning at 2:00 Clint and Meg drive in. We stayed at a really nice hotel, THE Hotel at Mandalay Bay. Thanks Tom and Melissa for the recommendations in planning our trip. Adam had to get up at 8:00 and go to class, while Meg, Clint and I slept in until 11:00 then went to the pool and read our books and enhanced our skin color. It was lovely. That night we went to the best Mexican restaurant at the hotel, all fresh homemade... delicious. Off to a great show of Phantom of the OPera. The Theatre was amazing and so were the Phantom's hand movements when he sang. Clint needs to post a video of his singing, we were laughing so much afterwards. Not much walking around because Meghan had the heels from hell on and was a mile behind us. :)

Saturday: Adam to class at 9:00, clint, meg and carlee sleep till 11:00 and then to the pool for more reading, laying out and floating the lazy river. Lots of smoke inhalation but so relaxing. In-and Out for dinner and then we walked around a little bit because Meg and Carlee's shoes were better this night. We watched the Bellagio Water show, and hit a soft nerve on Clint. He said he could watch it all night. oh so romantic. We really wanted to see Cirque de soleil "O", so Meghan worked her magic and we got tickets close and for cheaper. It was really cool and we were so glad we got in. We saw the two shows we most wanted to see and saw all of Vegas that we could handle, as we followed a Boobie girl on a trailer home to our hotel. The boys tried to get around the car trailer but just couldn't make it around in traffic, so gross!

Lots of fun, lots of laughs, lots of memories, lots of money spent, lots of nudity, smoking, drinking, gambling.... We are surely a peculiar people and you realize it after you visit vegas!

So fun!
Thanks guys!

MY goatee man and his race!

Adam and his bro's finished the ragnar race in AZ this weekend. He comes home tomorrow but I had to get these pics up now. When I asked how much fun he had he said, " it is at the top of my list along with my wedding day!" FOR REALS, WHOOAAA! offended.
The awesome gang of cousins, brothers, and great friends. Weekend full of pain, exhaustion, but mostly laughs!

Proud of you! Can't wait to have you home clean shavin'

New post, jump for joy!

Adlee loves making pancakes in the morning, and I love when she does!

Our little, but not so little anymore Brielle, turned 5! holy smokes. Thank you Nana for the most adorable outfit you sent and Grandma for the little doggies!

We spent Brielle's bday weekend taking advantage of dental ce courses in Ruidoso, NM.
It is one of the pretty mountainous parts of NM. We all went and hung out in the hotel at the swimming pool with our friends the Christensen's. Then we did some racing at the local family park in town. Noah and I had a great ride!

Brielle went turtle speed on the kid track!

Adlee was way too excited to drive her own car, and then after it was over was ticked off because it was way too slow. Geesh!

Noah hanging out in the hotel room getting into everything and entertaining us all.

The jacuzzi was the only thing warm enough to swim in, oh darn there goes my swimming laps that I planned on doing.

When we got back we took Brielle and 4 of her good friends bowling. They had a great time but we only got through a half of a game. Took way too long.

And NOAH, what the heck do I do about his face! He looks abused! New lip cut falling off a scooter in the garage.

And my hot man ready for his race this weekend. Two weeks of growth and I am so ready for him to shave it off. I can't kiss him, unless I really focus on who it is. It is so different and sorry but, I don't like it. I will admit he is hot with a goatee (sp?) and even some grannies at the office told him that. Run fast and hard babe and wish I could be there to watch you pukin' on the side lines. jk. just come home alive and clean shavin' okay!

HELP!

somebody tell me how you download blogger videos. I click on the video picture and it starts to download, takes forever and then says it can't do it. HOW DO YOU GUYS DO IT? it might be our laptop. fill me in

Noah did it again.

We spent Saturday in the ER stitching up Noah's head. We went to a park and I heard Noah fall on the steps up to the slide. Look over and see bloody face. Pull him close to hug him, see big deep hole in between eyes. We all head to ER and they get him back and tell me they need to sedate him to stitch between eyes. Okay. give Noah sedation juice to drink. 10 mins later getting sleepy, 10 mins later adverse effect, NOAH IS FREAKING OUT! pulling out IV, hitting me with his wrapped up hands, screaming horribly and the Dr. comes in and says, " this happens to some of the kids." uh, why mine. Totally crazy. We end up having Adam, me, nurse and Dr. holding him down to get him numb and get 3 stitches in his head. so not fun. but he is okay and just gonna have another scar.

Sorry it is tipped, I can't fix it. Noah decided he wouldn't sleep in crib anymore. So on to the big boy bed. He loves it and is so cute sleeping in it.

One more smile from our crazy man drinking his morning shake.

And as you can see from the side baby ticker. WE ARE PREGO....... HOW DID THAT HAPPEN!?

Seriously!!!

Started Dec. 19th, we had to open these for the long 10 hour road trip to MESA! So worth it!

First stop in Pine to get some long awaited time with the Chaffee's! here are the rugrats!

The philadelphia boys growing up on us.

Then to Mesa, cousins, cousins, cousins!

Adam, Bridgette and Dad Bunker

Me kicking my husband's trash in Indian leg wrestle. ONLY THE CHAD COULD STOP ME!

Noah and Daddy having a chat.

Christmas Eve Eve with the Bunker family. Nana and Papa Jack and the kids in their new pj's.

To post this or to not post this, that is the question???? sisters in our new robes! grrrr

Brielle and Santa

Adlee thinking, wait I know you!

And Noah saying, get lost!

The amazing nativity! It was awesome!

One day we were going to go hiking with Clint and Amy. So we all jumped in the car and started driving about 15 mins. away to the mountains. We were almost there and I turned around and realized NOAH was not with us. "WHERE'S NOAH?!!!!" Adam didn't know either, we realized we left him at Clint and Amy's house by himself. Thankfully I remembered that he was inside and not in the street so my nerve's calmed a little as we flipped a u and rushed back to their place. As we drove up this is what I saw......

Noah looking out the window screen, where the heck is everyone?
I gave him a big squeeze after opening the garage. AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! what a good mom I am.

Grandma dispersing all the grandkids gifts. It was so fun. Thank you , thank you! Adlee got her much desired Heely's shoes, Brielle a makeup kit and Noah a magnadoodle.

The girls dying to come down the stairs on Christmas morning! Papa Jack told a story while the waited.

Ended our wonderful trip in Pine again with Clint and Meghan's family and Nana.

Sledding in the snow.

building a snowman, thanks Meg for the picture, I was lazy inside on the couch.
And the final straw for me was this crap!!!!! I was a nervous wreck. I -40 Holbrook to Albuquerque. could not see a thing. so scary. the blessing of it all is we got new tires put on the day before in Mesa because we got a nail in one. Always being watched over. We would have been on the side of the road like so many others.
