A Totally Eventful Day!

So we started off today with a much needed thing of washing the cars. The girls love to help dad and we are loving the nice 75 degree weather.

Noah enjoyed bouncing around for an hour watching us.

Homecoming was today at the high school around the corner and we figured we have lived here for 3 years and never gone to the parade. So today was the day to walk over and watch it. The girls LOVED the bonus of getting candy thrown at them like they were starving vulchers looking for food.

Check out those cheeks. Yes, that is a whole mini candy bar stuffed in there tight.

The fire trucks scared the heck out of us when they honked.

Okay and this is the best part of the day. We heard a christian church was having a FREE festival at a huge park today for the community. Hey, why not?? We are always looking for FREE fun. Hilarious, so we show up and they are doing little games for the kids. The girls got some tickets and look closely at what they bought with the tickets! Brielle's bracelet says, Got God?
We are glad they didn't try to recruit us for baptism in their church. we would have felt really dumb. The girls had a good time and what is even better is they thought we were the best parents in the whole world.

We ended the day with Adam pulling Adlee's tooth out. Adam was trying to get it out and Adlee said, "maybe you should send me to the dentist Dad." Adam got a kick out of that one.

So that was our Totally Eventful Saturday. I was so excited to blog about it. ha!

Feeling Wicked in New york!

Adam and I were spoiled this weekend and my Mom and Dad bought us WICKED tickets in New York. This was Adam's first experience in the city and he couldn't believe all the people! It was so much fun. We couldn't of had so much fun if it wasn't for our sweet neighboor who watched all three kids! She is a gem! We left early Saturday morning so we were able to see some sights and experience the subway. You all would be happy to hear that ...... yes.... Adam and Carlee made it around New York without getting lost! It was amazing. We walked around wall street then down to the statue of liberty, ground zero, brooklyn bridge, etc. Then on to the show! It was so incredible. Everyone has to see it, and you all have to come see it in New York too. It was hilarious and there are no words to really describe how good it was. you just have to see it. After the show, we walked up to the Temple and then around Central Park and that was really cool, except for the fat bleeding blister I got on my ankle. Stinkin' shoes! Our feet were killing us from all the walking so we made our back to the train and made it home by 10:00 that night. I wish we could do it again soon. It was so fun!

Sunday night live!

Does anyone like Adam's ponytail??? He about died when he realized he's been walking around with the world's best ducktail. He of course blamed it on me for not saying anything to him. We are going to cut it TONIGHT. so nasty! He will kill me when he sees that I posted this.

what the heck!?!

We did it! Here we are! I know it has been a long awaited day for us all, and now I am feeling so many emotions. Excited, scared, happy, nervous, stressed. I hope this blogging thing doesn't send me to a psychiatric office. I am just excited to see what is going on in everyone's world. But the rule is you still have to talk to me and communicate in person. I will not accept, "if you want to know me, go read my blog."
