A Totally Eventful Day!

So we started off today with a much needed thing of washing the cars. The girls love to help dad and we are loving the nice 75 degree weather.

Noah enjoyed bouncing around for an hour watching us.

Homecoming was today at the high school around the corner and we figured we have lived here for 3 years and never gone to the parade. So today was the day to walk over and watch it. The girls LOVED the bonus of getting candy thrown at them like they were starving vulchers looking for food.

Check out those cheeks. Yes, that is a whole mini candy bar stuffed in there tight.

The fire trucks scared the heck out of us when they honked.

Okay and this is the best part of the day. We heard a christian church was having a FREE festival at a huge park today for the community. Hey, why not?? We are always looking for FREE fun. Hilarious, so we show up and they are doing little games for the kids. The girls got some tickets and look closely at what they bought with the tickets! Brielle's bracelet says, Got God?
We are glad they didn't try to recruit us for baptism in their church. we would have felt really dumb. The girls had a good time and what is even better is they thought we were the best parents in the whole world.

We ended the day with Adam pulling Adlee's tooth out. Adam was trying to get it out and Adlee said, "maybe you should send me to the dentist Dad." Adam got a kick out of that one.

So that was our Totally Eventful Saturday. I was so excited to blog about it. ha!

I am jealous of your weather too. The weather here keeps teasing us. It dips down in to the 80's and then it jumps back up to the 90's. I can't wait for FALL!!! By the way, I know I told you this last year, and I'll say it again. You need to come and visit when Chelsea play TCU.

Way to be involved in the great city of Royersford and be the Best Parents Ever! I'm envious of the energy level and that Meghan left a comment on your blog (still waiting). I don't think I've ever seen a picture of the mini van- do show.
Noah looks so cute! Can't wait to see you guys in Utah!!

Loved the post! Adam, we needed you here to assure Cole that he was not losing a permanent molar. He was so scared to pull it out (it was dangling from one peony root) for fear that it was not ever going to grow back. "Are you so sure Mom that I have another one coming?"
Sad about the Canadian/American exchange rate now. When Tom and I went to Vancouver years ago the rate was in our favor by about 30%. We felt like we could buy buy buy because it was practically free right?! I heard that the US dollar weakens when the interest rates are lowered...I hope our new Fed Chair and the next administation has the wisdom with that kind of power.

Gosh look how beautiful your kids skin coloring is.
I bet it is so fun to live in such a different place than Mesa, And to experience the culture out there is fabulous. Are you going to have a hard time leaving? Or will it be time when Adam is done? I am sure it is mixed emotions.

I can't believe how big your girls are!! Beautiful too!! What a fun day you guys had. My favorite...Adlee telling her soon to be dentist father that she needed to see a "real" dentist! Classic!
