Bring it on all you soccer mom's!

I think I won the soccer mom award in my RED HOT mini van as I drove up to the season opener this Saturday. Brielle and Adlee were so excited and don't they look so spiffy?
We had Adlee and Brielle's games and we were at the fields from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. TOO much for one day but AYSO had to get in the opening ceremonies for the first game day. whoo hoo! My girls love every minute of it and I do have to say they got their Daddy's fast genes in them. I'm not proud or anything...... I know, I know you are all thinking where is the volleyball? Well, here in Clovis they don't start them until 3rd grade for that. I think I might have a battle with Adlee on volleyball vs. soccer next year. CRUD!

CLASSIC Brielle! This is her pregame ritual I guess. If you can't tell what she is doing let's just say, she needed some breathing room in that little nose of hers. Caught in the moment. "Could you just start the game, please?"

This little girl and Brielle were right by eachother the entire game. Back and forth making goals. Not intimadated one bit, Philly been good to us!

And Noah doing some half time entertainment.

Adlee strikes a pose and doesn't even care about the big piece of hair in her face.
Noah loves to kill the flies. The girls play this new game that they are the flies and Noah chases them down. Cheap entertainment and hilarious!
Noah must have some great flexibility, double joints, or broke a finger hitting someone. He loves this "don't you do that" pointer.

The latest...

My girls are learning to play in the rock. They spent about 3 hours out here on Labor Day. It is so nice when they play together and have fun! They made their own little home outside on the side of the house so we couldn't see them and wanted to play "HOMELESS". They made me lock the door and then they would come and knock and beg for food. I would make them do a chore for money and then they would buy food. It was pretty funny.

We had a great time camping a few weekends ago with some friends. We went to Bottomless Lake near Roswell, and rented boats, made a sandcastle and got eaten by Mesquitos! It was great fun, I just hope I don't get West Nile.

And here is how I found Noah last week! Silence from Noah means TROUBLE!
Yes, this wins nastiest picture of the year!

THis is what happens when you don't live next to Vanessa anymore! I know tears everyone!
The buzzed Noah......now he is even more of a wild man.

can't get enough of Noah!

Noah thinks it's hilarious
to say "don't you do that!"
with the finger.

popcorn party

Another proud moment!

Just got a little proud of my sister and thought I'd share her accomplishments. Congrats Chels!

more fun in Clovis!

A big cheese grin! I feel like a woman finally!

Everyone knows of my extreme love for rollercoasters
well, now my Adlee is my partner. She is crazy! I took
the girls to the county fair last Friday night. Overpriced but
the girls had a blast.

Clovis has a fifth season. What is it you ask?
It is really called Fly season! nasty and so annoying.
You can't even open the door without 3 or more flying in.
This was my graveyard after about 5 minutes of walking around my kitchen
killing the suckers!

So La Casa had a health fair and look what Adam and
his buddy Lindsey got to do! ha ha ha
The kids loved to come "Dunk the Dentist"
They were freezing but it was pretty hilarious!

Adlee was a pro!

Adlee started 2nd grade at Mesa Elementary school

Brielle started pre-school as a presbyterian!
Baptist last year and now presbyterian. It's great.

Life is good, and we are happy!

MORE FUN IN AZ for the summer!

My beautiful, fun, full of life cousins
Amber, Brooke and Johnny organized a great
Goodman reunion at the ranch. Thanks for the
good laughs and fun activities. Great memories!

Brielle making her favorite funny face and Noah just chillin'

While the boys went golfing, the girls (and kids of course)
enjoyed some bonding chat time!

goofy golfing with cousins in Pinetop

The little kids loved driving their own cars. I just love
Brielle's face in this pic. She is so determined to win.

Meg and I went up to the cabin with Nana for a few days and
what did we do....... nothing! Let the kids go wild and
we hung out... loved it! I need the pic with Nana if you have it.

My bro Tanner and his band "Rescue the Future"
had a show and so we took Adlee and G-man
on a special date with the adults to it. They stood up front
the entire time with signs that read, "TANNER ROCKS"
and "WE LOVE TANNER" right in front of his face. They maybe
put their arms down once. So cute! Their band is awesome and
Adlee now wants to have a band so she practices on her guitar everyday.

Before the concert we went to dinner at
Pei Wei's and I turned around to ask Adlee what she
wanted to order and G-man and her were holding
hands interlockage way! so funny, they were so serious
and I guess they were on their own sortof date.

Grandpa's date to the movies. Thanks Grandma
for the makeover! A little much for my babies but
they were feeling pretty special.

My sis in law took me out to a much needed pedicure
for both of us. It was so relaxing! Thanks so much Melissa and
Cole for watching all the kids while we went.

One of our many dressup days at Grandma's.
This time the girls were even able to talk the
boys into getting into them. My brothers are
going to kill me when they see this one. So funny!

NOAH IS A BRUISER! fell on the pool deck
dang so cute and oh so sad!

more Noah lookin' cute at the pool
I had some great times seeing family and some friends that I haven't
seen forever. Now home to Adam who I missed very much. The long 9 hour
drive with the kids made me rethink the CLOVIS to MESA route! AAAHHHH!

AND NOW, presenting CLOVIS, NEW MEXICO!

Here is our home, we don't believe in grass here!
Kind of a pain in the butt..... but I am thankful for
a nice house to rent with new stuff and no fixer uppers.
And yes, that is a real sky! Isn't it beautiful!
Inside our living room, Brielle watching princess
movie of course.

I don't know how I feel about this license plate.
"Land of Enchantment" ??? what is that all about??

Start off Clovis with a bang and the MIL's came to visit
us from 10 hours away!!! that is LOVE! thank you for coming
and cheering me up our first weekend here. I know it was
such a long drive and it meant everything to us.
PUERTO RICO LIVES ON!!!

This kills me! I cried and laughed when
I got this in the mail. Yep folks, this is
all of Clovis/Portales white AND yellow
pages. (Aryn, have I got Star, ID beat?)

The girls discussing what they are going to do
when Grandma and Grandpa get here, pretty cute!
They were waiting about an hour in front of the winda!
Thank you MOM and DAD for taking the time to come and
see this little place. My parents did so much for us in the three
days they were here. My Dad and Adam went golfing, we went
shopping, of course to SUPER WAL-MART and they hung curtains,
pictures, organized, spray-painted bed and crib (my mom's finger is still numb),
played games, talked and laughed, and yes, cried when they left! They took Adlee
home with them for a few weeks to AZ until I come to visit this week. LOVE YOU!!
Amazing firework show on the 4th.
Clovis is the home of the Cannon Air Force Base so the
4th was a huge thing, and I think the show might be close
to being better than the STADIUM of Fire in Provo......

Waiting patiently to begin the fireworks.

Who knew we could have so much fun without
grass in our backyard too!

Noah was not allowed in the house and screamed
at me from outside.

Finding thrills with the packing paper.

And then, THE DAIRY FEST! oh yes, this is
a big deal! kids loved it and we loved it too. They served
FREE cheeseburgers, yogurt, milkshakes and had some
game booths going on too. We stayed as long as we could
before the thunderstorm came. The first week we were
here there was a lighting storm everynight. It was great!

Eating our food, yum yum!

Our kids could live here forever if we would
only get them one of these.

Thought this was a great phote of our new lifestyle.
Just kidding, I will not be doing any farming soon.

Girls loving the Dairy Fest at the Curry County
Fairgrounds. Please say that like a TEXAN!!
We are basically in Texas anyways. about 10 mins
I think.

This is a story that must be shared.
So we met some great friends, Chad and Diana Prior.
He is a physician that works on the Base and so we
travel into the "Communist Neighborhood" as my friend
calls it every week to play games and let the kids hang out.
Well, this particular night Adam and I were there late and his
"pass" expired at 11:00 that night. We didn't get out of there until
1:00 am because we were playing a great game of Puerto Rico.
Adam ended up getting pulled over on our way out, they said he didn't
make a complete stop, but he totally did, they were just power hungry and
bored. So they told him his "pass" was expired and asked him if he had been
drinking at the party at the base bar that evening. He had to do a silly test with
his fingers counting back and forth, which he failed because he only did it 2 times and
not three. Then he repeated f-k in the alphabet and was only suppose to go to J. He
was so nervous thinking they were going to shoot him for being on base after hours and then the
spotlight in his face while they stood there looking all MACHO! Because he did both of the tests wrong, they made him get out and WALK THE LINE!!!! I pulled over in front of him and stopped so I could follow him home and I was laughing my head off and took this picture. Adam was so ticked off at the military cops and then the cops were ticked off at me for taking this picture. Oh well! It was pretty hilarious and Adam is just now starting to laugh about it.

My handsome Dr. Bunker on his first day of work.
Brush, brush, brush you want good breath now
because you're a dentist.
I have been to the Super Wal-mart way too many times
and I'm really missing Target and Costco. But other than that
we are having fun together and our ward is awesome. Adam is
the 1st counselor in the young men's presidency and I am ..........
guess............. Primary 1st counselor! I just belong with the children and
I love it.
NOw, what do you all think of Clovis??? I only
want to hear positive feedback and encouragement. ha ha
